Game Programming Problem! J2ME

I have been asked to produce a remake of the famous game "Road Rash". I have coded the movement of the scroll-er that I wanted to produce for this game but
only short distance the tile layer fades out and becomes black.

Below is the code that I already have.

Please can anyone help me.

can you make a question more clearer , do you mean the image when zoomed then it gets faded to black?
whatever just type more and let us know !
With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
