Hi,

I am around 4 years experience in java-j2ee development.
I am interested to work in android, in my current organization I am not finding any scope of android work.
Is their any way like certification or any other thing by which I can convince my current employer or any new employer that I can work in android.
Any suggestion can I get from you ?

Thanks
Sisti

The most direct route would seem to be to create one or more applications, and to distribute them through the Android Market (or one of the other app sites) so that people can take a look at what you're capable of doing.

The "Publishing" section in the Android Dev Guide describes it in detail.

The AndroidFaq lists numerous app distribution web sites. The Android Market is not exactly expensive, though ($25 for as many apps as you like), and it provides your apps with a bit of Google/Android cachet in the way that using a 3rd party distribution site doesn't. It's a trivial expense considering you intend to boost your career.
