hello everyone
i want to design a language translator using java technologies.
is it easy to design a language translator?
please give me a path to build it.

if i have to design a simple translator which takes simply print the character in other language mean to say simple syllable transformation not a dictionary meaning.....then???

I wouldn't consider that easy, either -- but that process is transliteration, not translation. Searching the net for "transliteration algorithm Java" produces a lot of results, some of which should be useful.

why not you try with Spell checker. It will be useful also. Lang. many software giants are already working on it and till date no one got 100% success. even if Google also.
