Hi, I was interested if there is a preferred Eclipse IDE for J2EE.

Thanks.

None. The SCEA is design, not coding. So there is no need for an IDE at all. You do need a UML editor.

Thanks, I saw a similar posting when I did a search after I made this post. Are there any recommended design packages to use? Up until now I have been using Visio and Umlet. I have just been doing preliminary work on the SCEA. Reading the J2EE 6 Tutorial which is why I asked the question. I was running the tutorials as I read through.
I have been using Netbeans and GlassFish up until now. I have ordered reading material as well. Which should start arriving today. Any guidance is appreciated.

Thanks.

I had used the ArgoUML for SCEA Part - 2 assignment.
