sign out code in a multiframe jsp

hi everybody

i just want to know how code a sign out button in a multiframe jsp since the logout process takes place only in a particular frame instead of the whole window.

Any help would be appreciated...

That greatly depends on what "logged in " means. You'll need to supply more details.

i have created an account for a user to sign-in which is a multi-frame(3-frames) window. now the sign out button is placed in a particular frame which is redirected to another page on clicking the button. the problem is when i click the logout button the redirected page opens only in that frame where the button is placed instead of the whole window.

If you want to direct the link to the top-most window, specify target="_top" on the link.
