New to Struts 2 + Sencha (ExtJs) + JSON

Hello, I'm new in Struts 2, Sencha (ExtJS) and JSon and I have to develop a Web application. I have already read many sources but there are some points that I don't undertstand.
The first one:

To communicate Sencha with Struts 2, JSON objects are used. The action classes must always implement get and set methods in order to pass parameters between Sencha and Struts 2 and from Struts 2 to Sencha.

Is there any other method or way to achieve this task.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Ainar 'n' Venu,

How did you make your setup with Struts and Sencha, basically asking for the all required jars and else?

Hope now the things would be working at your end. Can you please suggest some to me also as i am also a new guy with this scenario and looking to make something like to send the Tweets from my form. Any idea?

I also got some idea from Twitter API, so for that i need this set-up.

-Thanks to both of you in Advance.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
