Implementing an interface

So everyone seems to come to this point at sometime. Here I am. I have checked through alot of the previous posts on the subject and now I am here with my hands in the air about to bang my head against the desk. I have specific questions about a specific class, however the nature of this course prohibits me from going into detail. I have read through the API and a few tutorials on the subject and I still don't understand a few things. If anybody has any good resources on the subject, or who may be willing to field a few questions by email or PM, let me know. I am not finished with OOP2 yet but I feel that I am close, and with Marilyn on vaca I thought it would be a good time to work ahead a bit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Tony

PS. It doesn't look like I got my moose head for the basic set of assignments.

For me the breakthrough on OOP-3 (SortNames) came from the last sentence of Marilyn's reply to a question from Bill Bozeman way back in February 2001... Hope it helps you too. There is still some searching to do of course (API other Java sites) but you can be sure you're not barking up the wrong tree .

I still ain't there yit with OOP_3 though. There are more headaches than just the sorting .

Feel free to send me a PM (I'd like to see how that works anyway) if you want to.

Congrats. on the moosehead you should have by the way!

Uh oh. None of that now. Brick walls work much better!

Not many people realize it, but one of the skills you get going through the Cattle Drive is the ability to talk around something so that everyone who knows knows, and everyone who doesn't still gets something out of it. It's a learned skill, believe me, but when you get it down you get to add it to your list of computer langugages: CDC+ Cattle Drive Cryptic Plus. Might even get you a gubment job.

Go on, give it a whack - a lot of the time, just trying to formulate your question clarifies things for you.

Ah, now there's a good place to start. Can you say what is was in the tutorials or API that didn't make sense? No problem talking straight-talk there.

Hang in there Tony!
