Sharepoint does not have a Java API. I have several portlets that were developed in Java for Oracle WebCenter portal that now need to run as webparts in MOSS. The only item the portlets need to work in MOSS is the current portal logged in user. I have aspx code that gets the current MOSS logged in user. Is there a way to call the ASPX page in a servlet and get the username from the ASPX? How to you get data from aspx to the servlet?

I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
