I have been away for a while.

We have just had our second child and that kept me away from the cattle drive.

But I'm back now and eager to git goin'

I have probably forgotten a lot of what I learned on the cattle drive so far, so I expect some pretty severe nitpicks (nothing new there though )

I wish that for just one time, you could stand inside my shoes.<br />You'd know what a drag it is to see you.

Welcome back, Rory, and congrats on the new baby!

I've found that many of the lessons I've learned on the Cattle Drive have stuck with me even after a longer leave of absence... and it has even had an effect on how I program in other languages.

But, of course, we seldom miss an opportunity to torment students if one presents itself!

Welcome back, Rory. I'm sure your memory will be refreshed very easily and quickly.
