i am new to J2EE to please if any body could sugest me a way to take a right start with it and sugest me a books to read to learn obout ejb AND OTHER technologies like hibernate

I'm reading EJB3 In Action myself for the moment and I must say it's a good book!
It doesn't cover other technologies like Spring/Hibernate but it does have some paragraphs comparing them.

I would suggest starting off with EJB3 and afterwards reading a second book on Hibernate.
