I have been trying to include mysql connector jar file, while trying to execute a JDBC program in ubuntu. Till now I have been using netbeans for executing the programs. Now, I am trying to run those in command prompt. The connector jar file is set in classpath. But still, I am gettin display as com.mysql.jdbc.Driver . Please help. I also tried using -cp(-classpath) option but still no improvements

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
