Determining where you came from in FORM based login

Hi,
Is there anyway for a FORM login page to be able to determine where it came from?

For example, suppose you wanted to change the behaviour or layout of your FORM login page based on where the request originally came from - is this possible?

And is it possible to do this using JSP or Javascript rather than using a filter?

Many thanks.

The ServletRequest object has a method that will allow you to determine what page your request came from: getRemoteAddr.
