Getting java.netSocketException

The Flow of project is :
user submits a sparql query to a sparql endpoint:

i am using eclipse Helios Service Release 1 and server tomcat v5.5
i am using a campus public wifi network and even the firewall on my pc is not showing any notification that if it is blocking it.
i am getting the following exception while running a project on eclipse.



i tried to run the code on server and got the following exception
: HttpException: java.net.SocketException: Permission denied: connect: java.net.SocketException: Permission denied: connect

Is this coming from your servlet, or from Eclipse itself?

If Eclipse is unable to launch Tomcat, and there's nothing listening on the port Eclipse is trying to connect to, you're likely to get this message. Try opening up the Tomcat server in a browser, I think you'll find it cannot connect.

i am able to run the tomcat server and even the input page opens but when i submit ,it waits for a while and then the exception comes
