Hi everyone,

I am having experience with web application development with struts1.1. I need to develope(Only GUI part) some screens from scratch by using below,

[1] JSP
[2] Servlet
[3] Struts1.2
[4] JSTL

Can you please provide some of the tips(general) which need to be taken care during design & coding. This will help me to do the effective design & coding.

Thank you.

The best piece of advice I can give you is don't use Struts 1.x. Using a more modern framework (Struts 2, Spring MVC, Wicket...) will pay great dividends in productivity, testability and maintainability.
If you are stuck on Struts 1.x, read the User Guide and FAQ's.

[1] Escaping special characters
[2] Support internationalization
[3] Secure application. etc..

I need these kind of info. Friends please share info or better links.

The requirements

The things to think about aren't Struts specific and apply to any web app.
