This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
I made some twicks to a java class that uses the OfficeOpenXML API to create excel files, and now before opening the excel file generated by it< i get
"Excel found unreadable content in 'filename.xlsx'. Do you want to recover the content of this workbook ? If you trust the source of this workbook, click Yes."
So, I click yes and I do open the excel which looks correct, but I also can open the error.xml file which contains:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
- <recoveryLog xmlns="http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/spreadsheetml/2006/main">
<summary>Errors were detected in file 'C:\.....\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\EP6587HI\DMLSS_WRM_INFO_20110409102002.xlsx'</summary>
- <repairedRecords summary="Following is a list of repairs:">
<repairedRecord>Repaired Records: Cell information from /xl/worksheets/sheet1.xml part</repairedRecord>
I have no idea where to start debugging. THe code that generates the excel runs smoothly, and the excel file itself looks correct.
But why this error ?
I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
