Hello everyone,
I have good knowledge of core java and also have good knowledge of JSP and Servlets .. Is it okay if i start learning JSF now ?? Or do i have to learn anything else before that (any prerequisites) ?? If it is okay for me to start learning please suggest me some good books for learning JSF ..

thank you in advance

Dhaval,
I have created one simple JSF application.
From my experience in creating this application, although I also had prior knowledge of core java and servlets and JSP, it was not really required.
Personally I like to learn from books and the book I learned JSF from was Core JavaServer Faces by David Geary and Cay Horstmann.

Good Luck,
Avi.

Thanks for the reply Avi,
I got the book online .. How much time do you think would it take for me to learn JSF from the book if I'm ready to give avg. 2 hours daily to it ?? How long did you take to learn ??

Thanks again for your help.

How long did you take to learn ?

If I remember correctly, it took me around two weeks to learn.
