HSQL - data not persisting in table?

I am total newbie with HSQL, so expect a lot of questions in the next couple of days. Any and all help is welcome. Here is my problem - I have written this piece of code:

When i execute this code, i get value 5 printed and thats ok. But when i execute it second time, it should print 2 values 5. But instead it prints just one values 5. Its like previous insert wasnt executed permanently. I mean if i execute ten times this code, shouldnt the database hold ten rows with value 5? What am i misssing?
