MDB -> Stateless Interrupting long running process (how to reference SSBs)

Hallo I have a design problem.
I have a MessageDrivenBean accpting large data chunks.
This MDB delegates the processing to a Stateless Session Bean (SSB) which can be a long running process.
I have a requirement that this processing can be stopped (and the Tx rolled backed)
So with an id for the data I must find out the SSB which processes the data and call some method stop().
I have no idea how to implement this. I cannot hold references to SSBs e.g. in a map (or can I).
Any ideas how to solve this?

Thanks, hans
