I am in office and my coffee machine is out of order...(estimated time to fix - 4 hours)
What would you do when you wake up tomorrow morning and find out that there is no coffee left in the world.... just no coffee... nowhere !
* tea lovers - coffee is a reference to the tea object ;)

Drink an energy drink. That is much more efficient. Instead of 4 cups of coffee just one energy drink and you get the same amount of caffeine  (and more taurine) .
P.s. I don't like coffee but I do like an energy drink in the morning (A)

Me the opposite: I drink coffee because I like it. Energy drinks I find vile beyond comparison.

Does anybody knows a developer that doesn't get a daily (or more frequent) shot of caffaïne through coffee, tea or energy drink? Or do those just not exist?

I know quite a few (developers and other people) - but I'm in Utah, where non-caffeine-drinkers are common thanks to the LDS church. They seem to be just as productive as their more caffeinated co-workers, as far as I can tell.
