How i can count the number of array elements ?

I have my type at the wsdl

		<s:element name="ComplexElement">
			<s:complexType>
				<s:sequence>
					<s:element maxOccurs="unbounded" name="Mass" type="s:int" />
				</s:sequence>
			</s:complexType>
		</s:element>	

and i have variable

<variable name="ComplexElement" element="remotews:ComplexElement" />

how can I get the number of elements in the array?
