Just passed part 1 with a rather disappointing 64% but a pass is a pass!

I had 6 or 7 questions on JSF which I know very little about, 1 drag and drop question, 5 or 6 questions on patterns, the rest were evenly distributed on the remainder of the topics. I had one question which seemed to have been written by a non native English speaker where the answers didn't seem to be related to the question..

Anyway, part 2 beckons...after a nice long weekend of course!

Congrats
In the final certificate they never mention the %age and moreover in part 2 and part 3 - it's just Pass or Fail grade.
Best of luck for the subsequent phases.

Congrats!

Rightly said, pass is pass. Passing before August really matters a lot.

How long did you prepare for this exam? I hope you didn't get sick a day before the exam like me. Next day of exam, I was perfectly fine -
I cleared part-1 recently with 67% and I guess it's ok as per my prep time. I spent hardly 120 hours on it.

Good luck for part 2 & 3. I am preparing for 2 & 3 too.

To be fair I didn't exactly study hard. I read the Cade and Sheil book a few times and studied the patterns I didn't already know, I also bought the ePractize Labs mock exams and went through all the labs. All in all I spent maybe 60 hours on it (I'm already SCWCD and SCBCD so I didn't spend too much time on those areas), so my score reflects that.
