Hi friends,
When i upgraded my IntelliJIDEA to version 10 and run my project, it shows me a message as the following:

cmd /c "C:\Tomcat 6\bin\catalina.bat" run
Neither the JAVA_HOME nor the JRE_HOME environment variable is defined
At least one of these environment variable is needed to run this program
Disconnected from server

Thus, in my system environment i created a new variable with name JAVA_HOME and its value with name C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_24\bin.
But when i try to run it again then it shows the same message shown above...

What am I doing wrong? Any help will be appreciated!

Are you sure you didn't create them in the "user variables" section instead of the "system variables" section of the environment variables panel?

Yes, it worked at last. It is possible that the shutdown/restart has been caused to working correctly
Thanks anyway R. Grimes!

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
