Hi All,

I want to have scrollbar with my own images, which is not possible using css,
so googled i found very few those are also pure javascript based, but i need this functionality in GWT.

Actually i done my own implementation but some issues while scrolling so i want to know is there any ready to use third party libraries are available for GWT.

Any good ideas to implement scroll with own scrolling images.

Thanks

hi charan, you can use an absolute panel with all images inside it. You will need to add listeners to allow drag drop, mouse wheel, click, up-arrow, down-arrow, etc.

a very good example is that of google wave and also the way in which google shows real time updates in search.

Hey Thanks for your reply Salvin.

I want this for a grid, so i placed grid inside the absolute panel and click of top and down arrow working fine, all my calculation are working fine.
but i am facing challenges of dragging scroll only, dragging things are not working properly especially IE8 the scroll image is not moving smoothly, and i need lot of calculations accordingly to increase/decrease scroll image.

so still i am trying my own implementation, but also looking other third party supports the same.

As you told the scrll bar in wave is different, i need a legeacy scroll implementation but with images......
