My enterprise application is made up of EJB exposed as webservices.
The data in my applications, resides in the files, and not in database.
I also have a few MDB calling classes, which listen to sockets.
I m told that, EJB's cannot listen to sockets or communicate with file.
So I am asked to use a Resource adapter/ JCA for these.
I am using JBOSS 6 with netbeans.
But since I m new to it, could you please help me, about how to start with using JCA for filesystems and over sockets in JBOSS 6.

or I'd appreciate if you could direct me to links thru which I could get started wth the above.
Could I in someway use transactions over files as well?
