Hello! I have created a jsp page, that makes a search through internet, returns some articles and then makes many changes in these articles. When it is done, it is directed to another jsp page, where the results are shown. The problem is that the whole function in the first page takes a big time and an error occurs.
WARNING: Interrupting idle Thread: http-thread-pool-8080-(2)
I search through internet for this error and I found out that I should increase the http request processing timeout, which is set at 15 mins. However, I didn't found the way to. Can anybody help?

This is the wrong way to go about it. No user should be made to wait for 15 minutes or longer. Maybe the browser crashes, or the user inadvertently closes it; then what?

The proper way is to kick off the search as a background task (or thread), and to return to the user the URL of a page where he can check periodically for results. Or send the user an email with the link when the search is done.
