How to call a target after start tomcat

Hi all,

I have written a build file. I have a scenario that i have to start tomcat ,selenium server and once they are started i have to execute the testcase.I have written the script but the problem is if i started the server from ant using



The target StartSeleniumServeris not executing .


please suggest me to resolve this


All search starts with beginner's luck and all search ends with victor's severly tested.

Did you see this sentence in the documentation on the parallel task:

Ant docs wrote:While the tasks within the parallel task are being run, the main thread will be blocked waiting for all the child threads to complete.


This means that <parallel> will not exit until everything within it exits. That means in your case that the antcall for selenium will not start until Tomcat exists. Try placing the antcall for selenium within parallel.
