Error in applet when a value is returned to PHP

Hi all,
A Signed applet is called from PHP file and the following line is written to return php

getAppletContext().showDocument(new URL("javascript:doAlert('"+str+"','"+id_name+"')"));

But a security exception is thrown

java.lang.SecurityException: showDocument url permission denied

But the same called from JSP file and applet returns value to jsp successfully.

Please help me.

Will this be resolved if we call applet using jquery?
