This week's book giveaway is in the OCAJP 8 forum. We're giving away four copies of OCA Java SE 8 Programmer I Study Guide and have Edward Finegan & Robert Liguori on-line! See this thread for details.
I have a servlet deployed under tomcat.
This servlet when called , after some processing is done makes an Https request to some url.
However I had found that while making Https request I get following exception.
So as a workaround we had used Http request and it worked fine after making some configuration changes for the URL where we should make https request in the http.conf file on the web server.
However this solution is later rejected.
We tried "curl" utility of linux to make the same https request and it worked fine.
This makes me to thing that if some other program works with the same URL and not my java program then my program is wrong. I am missing something. I am new to this kind of a scenario and certificates and all.
I would appreciate your help that would give me a hitch to find out the solution to this one.
