Hi All I've found a lot of excellent information on creating executable jar files.
I am curious about one issue ... can an executable jar file be created from a combination of class files and existing jar files?

Sure it can. But don't imagine the solution involves putting those other jar files inside the executable jar file you're about to produce! No, the way to do it is to put Class-Path entries in the new executable jar's manifest.

The information you've already seen should explain how that works... if you've seen the right information, that is.
