Hello All,
I know various flavours of this question has been asked in this forum, but I could not find the exact answer I was looking for
so asking it.
Is any one aware of the Oracle Certified Professional, Java EE 5 Business Component Developer (310-091) exam going away?
Though this is not the latest certification, I am keen on taking it as it suits my job needs.
I am planning to give the test by July 15th 2011, I have a voucher valid till Nov 2011, and I am hoping that the exam does not
go away by July 2011.
If this exact question has been answered already somewhere in this forum, I apologize.
Please point me to the thread.
Thanks & Regards,
Anu

I think that if an exam is going on retirement, no new candidates can register after the retirement date but if you already have a valid voucher, you can probably do the exam even after the retirement date.
Looks like you need to do the exam before 31st of May! (Thanks Mike!)

You would probably get a better answer by asking PearsonVue Customer Service
I think you may be out of luck though. According to the Transition FAQs page
Will Prometric vouchers be valid after the cutover date? Will candidates still be able to use these existing vouchers?
Existing vouchers for Java, Oracle Solaris, MySQL and NetBeans exams will be valid for all new exam registrations with Prometric through May 31. The exam must be taken at Prometric by May 31, 2011.
