The book is quite massive with over 1000+ pages.
Are the chapters here interrelated with the others? Wherein later chapters expands the concepts of
the previous or each chapter stands by itself and serve as reference.
Also, does each chapter presents independent working examples or code?
The book says it is for beginners and experience android programmers. I am in the novice side so I'd like
to dig dipper on the book approach.
Thanks and good luck!

Mark,
Appreciate your question.
1. The chapters to a very large extent indpendent of each other.
2. Examples for each chapter are 100% independently developed of other chapters. we believe this is really good as you can complete a chapter reading by itself
3. The examples for each chapter are independently available on the website at Pro Android 3 Projects Link
4. If you already know Java and Eclipse, come on in we will take you through the Android experience
