IS there a way to configure error page for android application?

Hi,

I am new to android application. In web application, we can configure error page for the entire application in web.xml.

Like that, is it possible to configure a error page ( Activity ) for entire android application.

Yes. It can be done. I instantiate a helper class that catches all unhandled exceptions, dumps the data to a file and on the next run prompts the user to e-mail the crash data to me.

I'm sorry, but I cannot provide you any specific code. It is not mine to share. I can tell you that I instantiate the class as a singleton from within my application. Here's at least a hint ...

public class ErrorReporter implements Thread.UncaughtExceptionHanlder {

    /*
     *
     * Do a bunch of fancy stuff ()
     * Write that fancy stuff to a file ()
     * Check to see if there's a file when instantiated and e-mail it ()
     *
     */

}
