This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
I posted this query quite some time back here on another forum, but never got much help. Looking back, I feel I posted it on the wrong forum, so re-posting it.
I want to learn Struts from scratch. I have the basic knowledge of core java and servlets. I want to learn it through hands on development of a project. Is there any book that I can follow, which teaches Struts through developing a hands-on project, that preferably goes from simple to difficult.
A good book that I once read and suited me well was Hands-On HTML. I loved that book, because it taught HTML through 3 projects, going from the simplest concepts to the complicated ones.
Can anyone please suggest any such book?
I don't have any option of gaining work-ex on Struts, but intend to make a job switch on the basis of self-study. I aim to learn well enough from this book (if possible) that my lack of experience is compensated.
