Android Emulator Skinning?

For me, using 3.1 the emulator shows up as the attached image. This looks more like a tablet PC. Is skinning possible? I would like the emulator to show up like a real phone.

3.1 does not run on phones.

So, should I be using a pre 3.1 version then? If yes, which one?

The 3.x versions of Android are tablet-only.

The 2.x and earlier versions are for phones and some early tablets (when 3.x was not available). So if you want to design an application for phones use 1.5 to 2.3.4. With 2.1 as min version you will reach around 90% of all Android phone users. With the current version 2.3.4 it will be more like 0.3%.
