start a struts application from its root folder

Hi,
Im new to struts and im develpoing an application using struts.
i need to start my application from its root path.
say i hav a root named wms and when i enter the url
hhtp://localhost:8080/wms
i want my home page login.do
to get loaded automatically when the url specified.
can anyone help me to set the path for this application.
im using jboss server,struts1.2 and java5.

Someone correct if I am wrong or if there is a better solution.

What you can do is have an index.jsp. When u give that url the index.jsp should be called. In this index.jsp forward the request to login.do.

If this is really what you want, add logon.do to the list of welcome files in web.xml
