WSS4J - using byte[] to initialize a Crypto object

Hi All,

I am trying to use Axis + WSS4J to do encryption, signature on the outgoing SOAP request to a third-party service.
The trouble is that we are using an in-house secure storage for storing the public-private key pair and the third-party certificate.
There is no truststore/keystore accessible here; we can only access this through our internal service and can get the keys in a byte[] format.

Does anyone know how I can use this byte[] and feed it into WSS4J so that WSS4J can use this key to do encryption and signature? I basically want to be able to initilize a Crypto object (which needs a X509Certificate object) using a byte[] and then use a custom action.

Any help would be very much appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi I am also in the same boat that I can not load anything from file and just have API to get private key and password. Did you get any luck achieving that?

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
