Hi,
I am trying to Install Ubuntu 9.10 Desktop Edition with Windows xp(already installed)-i am getting an *ERROR* Failed to restore crtc configuration: -22.
The screen keeps flashing with
[drm:intelfb_restore] *ERROR* Failed to restore crtc configuration: -22
until inactivity makes the screen go blank.
My Cd is alright.I have got it from s-mail.
Please tell me how to solve it. What is the problem?
I have googled and got this"This is an old error. Adding i915.modeset=0 to kernel args solved the problem for me." But still didn't get through.
