I'm just about to jar my part 2 assignment but I can't remember what I'm supposed to call the file....I know it has to include my id but is there a prefix or suffix I need to include? Is it still scea-SRXXXXXXX.jar?

And the email address is architect-submit_US@oracle.com?

Yes, the name of the jar is correct. email address is correct too. Are you done with part3 already or planning to after sending the assignment by email?

Instead of using jar -cvf command, I used winzip to zip the file and renamed to .jar file. I hope no issues in building the jar this way too...

Excellent, thanks Rajan. I'm taking part 3 tomorrow at 16:45 which was the last available Prometric slot.

Is there a reason you didn't just use jar -cf?

I read in this forum somewhere, somebody created zip and renamed to .jar and submitted so I did that way too....

There is no other reason. BTW, we are doing things together, I am taking part 3 on 31st too.

Just reviewed everything yesterday. I am glad, I reviewed my work as couple of entities in sequence diagrams were messed up. While creating the sequence diagrams, I kept copying few entities from one diagram to another and then I renamed the entity in another diagram. I did not look back at the old diagram where I had copied the entity from. The old entity was renamed automatically too. I corrected that yesterday. Had I not corrected that, I would have lost most the points in sequence diagrams.

For creating the jar file, just create a file viz. makejar.bat and put it in the assignment root directory.
jar -cvf scea-sp<ID>.jar *

Whenever you make any changes...just double click this file and the jar will be created right out there...why to use WinZip-when this is such a simple task at the first place.
