how to make and run jms application in tomcat 6

Hello All,

I am new to this communtity... i am having problem in running and making jms simple send and recieve message application.. as i have serached on net that for running jms we required application servers like web logic..i want to know that what should i need to run and made an jms sample using tomcat...

Can anyone suggest me what steps should i have to follow...i have already download javax.jms jar file..

You could use a stand-alone JMS server like OpenJMS

You could try Apache TomEE. It a Java EE 6 certified version of Apache Tomcat that has JMS support already integrated using Apache ActiveMQ.
