career in liferay

Hello friends,

I am Kumar joined MNC recently. I am really confused choosing the options what they are providing. I don't have any idea of portals.
I wanna have a clarity, regarding can i choose portal as my career. whats career growth both in terms of annual income and designation wise.
How about comparing it with development?

Is it better to be in development(income wise) or portals?

Please reply back soon, as m in some urgency to let my decision out in my company.

yes you can go for liferay portals without any hesitation this field have great oppurnities ...many big mnc companies are moving there projects on liferay...
