Can anyone recommend a book for

1Z0-851: Java Standard Edition 6 Programmer Certified Professional Exam administered by Oracle (formerly Sun )?

1 year to 18 months ago programmers had recommended

SCJP Sun Certified Programmer for Java 6 Exam 310-065 [Hardcover]
by Kathy Sierra, Bert Bates

----- -----

Since Oracle now owns Sun, can anyone comment on how the examination has changed?

----- -----

Would the book
"SCJP Sun Certified Programmer for Java 6 Exam 310-065 [Hardcover]
by Kathy Sierra, Bert Bates"

suffice for the

1Z0-851: Java Standard Edition 6 Programmer Certified Professional Exam ?

Welcome to Javaranch !!

i looked into syllabus of this certification. I guess Kathy Sierra book will be fine but not 100 % sure .
But I would appreciate if you can post your query in SCJP forum. There you can recieve better answrer for query.

Current forum (Certification results) is for only posting success achieved in various certificate exams.
