JSON Portlets Java AJax Jquery getJSON serveResource JSR286 portlet:resourceURL portlet.xml GenericPortlet

1. Requirement:-
The requirement is to fire an AJAX call when the user mouse over a div section .A dynamic Id value has to be passed as a request parameters .

2. How we are doing it?
The mouseover event of the div section is bound to a JQUERY function. This JQUERY method fires an AJAX request using the “getJSON” method. The JSON url is a resource handler request.
We have written a class which extends GenericPortlet to serve this request(JSR286 Spec). We have overridden serveResource method. But the AJAX call is not reaching the resource handler method.

We are using <portlet:resourceURL> to generate the resource URL.

Can you please tell me the configurations(web.xml, portlet.xml) involved in using a resource handler portlet class.

We are using Open portal server on Weblogic.

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
