This week's book giveaway is in the OCAJP 8 forum. We're giving away four copies of OCA Java SE 8 Programmer I Study Guide and have Edward Finegan & Robert Liguori on-line! See this thread for details.
Recently I've downloaded my SCEA part II assignment and I'm trying to analyze all the requirements. However, I hava some doubts about how one of the use cases should be interpreted.
There is an external system that is going to be invoked by the SuD in order to do some work. However, it is also stated that the external system should retrieve some data it needs to operate. It is not specified whether it should retrieve the needed data from SuD or from yet another system, but SuD surely has the needed data. Do you think I could make an assumption that, when calling the external system, all the required data is taken from SuD and sent along with the request? Won't that be to bold assumption? Otherwise I think I should expose some kind of an interface in SuD, for the external system to call back (but that doesn't make much sense to me).
I hope I didn't go too far with the details, otherwise, please remove my post.
I believe whatever you assume just put it in the assumption list.
If its confusing then I would make an assumption wich would make my life simple.
So rather than going to the details it is fair to assume that the external system will return the required output.
