Hi
I have 5 year gap. I passed out 2004 and worked almost 2 years in small company in VB, Crystal report and SQL.

I came US in 2006 on H4 visa and from that I am trying for H1 but i didn't get. In between I studied java, struts, Hibernate and have done SCJP and SCJD certification. Now this year has opening but consultant want to find first job but client asking min 3 year experience in java.

Now I am frustrated what to do, how to come in flow. Do you thing I can get any client here after 5 years gap. I am confident if someone give me a chance i will try to do my best.

Thanks

Vaishali

Hi Vaishali,

I am on L2 and also got EAD to work here in USA. I completed my computer studies from India in 2010 and came here, since then i am learning Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate etc.. I applied for the job but everybody is asking for some experience. so i have decided to go back in India and try there.

I am not saying to go back to India, but in meantime you can work on some projects for franchisee, you will gain some experience which you can add to your resume.
Keep updating your knowledge. One day you will get it. My best wishes are with you.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
