Hey guys, I'm trying to write a program to detect log in time and log out time, and then calculate the diference and write to a txt file.

But i do not know how to grab the log in and log out time........

Can anyone please help me with this???

I would suggest to use other technologies than Java to achieve this. Microsoft provides several means to audit the logon/logout events and to monitor/report these audits in for example a log-file. Newest technology around is PowerShell which should be able to work with Windows XP as well.
