No, that "chrome" is a by-product of the way Firefox's GUI is built (using a technology called XUL); see http://kb.mozillazine.org/Chrome_URLs. It long predates the Chrome browser.

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
