I am really new to JAXB. I am working on "unmarshaller". I am running a tutorial example that I found online and got an error message:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: javax.xml.bind.annotation.XmlAccessorType.value()Ljavax/xml/bind/annotation/AccessType;

Would anybody kindly help to point a direction? Thank you.

I think this is stamped from the same versioning problem of xjc as another post

This is the answer I propose there and therefore equally applicable here.

If you're using jaxb from within the jwsdp-2.0 download, then I'm afraid you have to make an addition download of the newest jaxb ri. It is 2.2.1 the last time I looked at it. The jaxb-xjc.jar that came with the jwsdp-2.0 is wrongly bundled with a beta that's why. Use the latest download to replace the jaxb that came with it.

Unfortunately, it is exactly the problem. I am using the JAXB in jwsdp-2_0. I surfed on the internet for the entire morning and was unable to find another version of JAXB. Would you kindly provide the link to it?

PS. I have see some RIs. I downloaded them; however, nothing but some documents was found in them.
