Welcome to coderanch!
Here is the post having the references of books/materials I used.
I found Jeanne's blog very helpful for the exam experience.

You need to hurry up as all the three parts need to be completed before 30th September 2011 to avoid the mandatory training requirement from oracle.
Do see this post for more details.

OCMJEA tests for the j2ee5 technologies and their applicability.
Though the exam does not tests for the syntaxes, as a architect you are expected to know their usages and the conditions/situations in which either of them to be applied.

I have listed resources I used for Part 1 of the exam in my post. Also you can refer to SCEA faqs.

Thanks Naresh,

Can somebody suggest me which book i should first go Allen and Bambara(310-051 , i have this version only, should latest version) or mark cade, going by only one book will be enough with other study material from good sites, or should i first go through both the books.

I purchased the latest edition of Allen and Barbara. I am very disappointed to see that the EJB section is not updated for EJB 3. Even the practice exams has EJB 2 questions. The book is useful to study desgin patterns. I had managed to barely pass SCEA 4 with this book alone, but the exam has changed a lot now. You would need to look at various additional materials now and the above posts should help.
