Hi guys,

today I've got the email that says that I've passed Oracle Certified Master Java EE 5 Enterprise Architect certification after waiting for the result for a long time.

I hope in the next few days I'll write my exam experience.

thank you guys, everyone, especially the guys in the SCEA forum and its moderator: you were great help for me.

Thanks Elyes

in the email that I got when I submitted my assignment they said that it would take something between 6 to 8 weeks, at the end of the 8th week I sent them asking what happened with my result and the replied back saying that there was a delay and it will take extra 2-3 weeks, so I waited extra two weeks and I got my result.

so it might take up to 10 weeks to get the result: for me that was a lot

I hope you'll get you result faster than mine, Elyes.

Hi guys,

following to my first post here is my exam experience, where I hope someone will find it useful:

Part 1: it took me about a month to prepare for it, I read Cade & Sheil book and many other resources provided at the forum here, I think having SCBCD and SCWCD helps in understanding all the features and limitations.

Part 2: here comes the hard part, it took me about 5 months to work it out: I read a lot of posts about the size of the diagrams and how many element each one contains but I wrote what I felt correct even though it wasn't that big, for the class diagram I had 29 classes including the jsps, deployment and component pretty straight forward and similar to the Cade & Sheil sample assignment, five sequence diagram (I had to split one diagram into two) and I wrote a lot in the assumptions because there were a lot of unclear points in the assignment.

Part 3: after working on the assignment, writing about it is an easy task: this part was a set of standard question where I had to justify my decisions on the assignment: I wrote a lot here because I wanted to make it clear for the assessor how did I do everything.

again I hope that would help someone

Cheers
