I doing a java project to open a website like facebook or twitter within my java GUI and not executing a new window so i would like to ask is it possible to do it and if so any examples i can refer to? Thanks so much!

Yes its is possible- Have a look at JavaFX 2.0 (beta version has been released). JavaFX 2.0 has a web viewer component. And JavaFX components can be integrated in a swing application as well.

With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
